to sing, there are many areas of nursing, that do not require physical work. Case management is a good one. Diabetic instructor is also a growing field right now as MCARE and such just started that they will only pay for DM teaching if done by certified DM instructor. Lots of places will be looking for that, easy to obtain certification, check on line. That would have wound care included. Usually you teach group and individual classes as well as some case managment. Anyway, good luck. Nursing has so much variety, even though you had this terrible accident as a nurse, you will still be able to find and enjoy work.

I have worked as a nurse in a correctional facility in NY. In 2005 I was in a severe car accident and a year later I fell and broke my hip, femur, and wrist now I am disabled. I want to go back to work because I loved my job but find the race is too much for me because I now have trouble walking and difficulty with my balance. I just don't know where to go for help in finding a job in my field. I really enjoy working with the inmate population and especially in wound care. unfourtionately that i spend 12y study at high school in egypt then i pass 4y study at nursing college in egypt 1989 qand i worked for 12y at hospital as register nurse and i have also licence register at ministery of health in egypt
but now when i try so many time to find job at usa as nurse or assistance but i didnot
because my certificate is not accepted at usa because all my study and certificate was graduated from egypt
now my age is 44y and i need to work at any place at usa
