probably no so much my dear....seems like a bummer I know but there are sooo many little things that make a good ortho nurse..you'll probably be a great one in time but theses docs want someone who knows whats wrong with the patient before they even come toasses them. I love it! A surgeon is a difficult person to work with sometimes and knowing your stuff inside and out is what is going to get you what you want...and for god sake learn how to splint and cast a patient!

I'm currently in school but I do my clinical rotation on the Ortho fool and I love it....I wonder if they still will pay the same amount to new graduate nurse?
