My friend is really happy in her job and likes working with students but overall it is pretty dull and she has been in the same position for ten years. This makes it quite the stable job, however, so that is why I gave that slot a five.

The Health Center is a nice place to work because you handle minor student issues, so nothing is too crazy or stressful. The people who work there are also very considerate and outgoing, but maybe that is because it is in the South.

Advice for prospective applicants:

Be sure you are willing to work with stuck up Vandy kids. Be prepared that you might be in the lab a lot doing simple blood tests. Only RNs are going to get their own office unless you have a lot of years tenure.
