About Me:
Friends and family are very important to me. I love to spend as much time as possible with them, although when school is in session my time is limited. My husband is a former Marine and served in Desert Storm, and he's a wonderful and loving person. I am so lucky to be married to him! I often tell him that he is my hero, but he has to share that title with my cute little daddy and my mommy up in heaven, He's cool with that. I'm originally from the Midwest and love where I'm from. Most of my family is still out there, but my immediate family is spread out across the country. My hubby is from Oklahoma and his family is still there and in Texas. We miss our families very much! We live in AZ and it sure gets HOT!! But, my hubby tells me you can't shovel sunshine off the sidewalk, so I guess we're staying here for a while. I am really excited about making a career change and look forward to becoming a great nurse. I really do care about people and have a lot of compassion. I can only hope that I will make a difference in people's lives and can help them in any way possible. I'm sure I'll be looking for advice and guidance from those of you who are wise and have the experience I hope to attain. :o)
