About Me:
Well, what can I say?I was born 2 1/2 months early weighing 2lbs.14oz.My mother struggled to raise 3 daughters(me being the baby), when I was 9 she went to work in a coal mine( above ground-strip mining,still physically demanding work),I have her to thank for my determination and drive when I set my mind on something, She taught me that I can be whatever I want and not to let fear stand in my way.Of my 2 sisters,I am the only one that followed in her footsteps with working in a man's world(got a lot of flack for that too, I had to work twice as hard,just to prove that I had a right to be out there and earned the respect with the men that I worked with). I've lived in Wyoming most of my life. I'm going to turn 31 in about a month and a half. I have been blessed with 2 beautiful kids,Kayla,my daughter will be 8 in a month and a half and my son Kristofer is 4.I have worked since I was 13 years old and have done everything from baby sit,housekeeping,painter,dishwasher,waitress,cook,convieniant store clerk, in 1995 I went to Clearfield Job Corps Center in Utah to finish high school(graduated with honors) and completed the Health Occupations course to become a CNA(I did that until 1998 when I needed to rethink if that was what I really wanted, went in a way different direction to work in a sawmill as a fingerjoiner, and on to be a bartender,to maintenance and construction in the methane gas industry(started out as a drilling rig hand, that first week I thought my boss and co-workers were trying to kill me,L.O.L.)then went to being a roustabout,I liked that job, but it was back-breaking physical work and too many long hours away from my kids( anywhere from 12 to 17 hour days).Then a year ago I drove a 17 ft.uhaul w/my car on a car trailer,all of mine and my kids' belongings and my kids 1,078 miles from our home in Wyoming to make a new home in Illinois.That took me 26 hrs. only sleeping for 2. I tried telemarketing and couldn't stand it, I tried the whole temp-service(not for me!) and now I have the opportunity to go back to school to pursue my dream.I was truly happy as a CNA in the nursing homes, where I went wrong, was when I did home health care for a woman who was tougher than nails.After a year I finally got through to her and grew to care for her too much!! I had dealt with death before, but this was different, I was around her so much that I practically lived there. It was just an older woman(who taught me a little about homeopathic medicine) and myself caring for her. When she died part of me died with her. :-( That's why I had to rethink my career options. The rest of those jobs, granted gave me experience to fall back on thankfully, but my heart was always longing for more. They were just a means for a single mother to care for her babies.Don't get me wrong I appreciate all of my experiences thus far good and bad, they build character and I would change nothing if I had the chance. I just want to be the best mom I can be and when my kids are grown,they will look back and be proud of their mama and know that everything I did,I did for them!!!!!!!!!!

Camping, Cooking, Hiking, Reading, Sleeping, writing in my daily journal,poems and drawing.

Howard The Duck,all the Die Hards and Leathal Weapons, Harry Potters,Erin Brockovich,Ma and Pa Kettles episodes, Most of Angelina Jolie movies.
Favorite TV Shows:
Charmed,CSI,and House
Favorite Music:
rock n roll,soft rock,country,blues and some classical
