About Me:
I just recently turned 23, graduated in 2006 with my ADN from Alfred State College. I've always wanted to be a NICU nurse since I was 6 years old when my sister was born prematurely and died of heart complications. I took a two year "hiatus" from nursing after I graduated and took my boards in NY when I moved to Houston, TX. I recently started an internship with Memorial Hermann Katy in their level 1 nursery/ level 2 NICU. Eventually I would like to start working strictly lvl 2 and 3 NICU possibly at Children's Memorail Hermann and eventually even get my NNP. I got married in August 2007 to an amazing man who supports me in everything and believes in me more than I do myself sometimes. No children yet! But it's hard to wait when I'm surrounded by babies all night! (I recently discovered that I love making nametags for my babies in the NICU. I love art!) I would love to learn how to cook, but don't have the kind of kitchen I want and just haven't learned yet. I've taken dance classes almost my entire life and recieved letters in Cheerleading and Track and Field in Highschool. If there's anything else you would like to know just ask! I have an open door policy about almost everything.
