Personal

About Me:
I've been an RN for 8 yrs now, primarily NICU experience. I live in Germany with my wonderful husband/soldier. He's active duty army. We have a soon to be 6 yr old son, who is most certainly the apple of my eye. He keeps me laughing, and is such a joy in our lives. It's been difficult finding a job here in Germany, so I took advantage of the time off and went back to school to get my BSN. I will graduate this October!! I will also begin volunteering with the Red Cross as an RN, I hear its easier to get hired after being a volunteer. Which is fine with me, I am looking forward to serving my community as a volunteer. :) I love FOOTBALL, and can't wait for the college season to begin. My husband and I are HUGE Michigan fans. Looking forward to seeing how Coach Rodriquez will do this year. I'm a Navy Brat, so I'm "from" different places. I was born in Missouri, where much of my family still resides. However I was raised in Fallon, NV and then Chula Vista, CA where I graduated high school. I strongly believe that my life as a child in a military family has molded me and strengthened me to be the best Army wife I could be to my husband. The military life isn't an easy one, however there are so many wonderful opportunities that we are offered, that I can't seem to think of what my life would be like NOT being a military family. :) I love this site and have met some really nice and interesting people in just a matter of days.
