- About Me:
- 08/10/2008 Sunday 1934PM All praises glory and honor too our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ My family and I are Hurricane Katrina Survivors and HealthCare Business owners relocated to Houston,Texas from New Orleans, La. My calling to the Nursing profession was when I was formed in my mother's womb. But like everyone I had to find myself and when I did find myself --well here I am. 03/22/1991 will always be a special reminder for me in my life. I gave birth to my son Quincy he was a fraction of a lb and was not to survive according to man not GOD; I was a Staff LPN on the PM shift at Charity Hospital in New Orleans,La(if you can work at Charity Hospital in New Orleans,La and survive then you can work anywhere) that is where Quincy was born. I refused to accept the MD sugesstion to sign a DNR; I went to GOD in prayer and fasting and I gave Quincy back to GOD and I asked that if it be God's will that he return Quincy to me in a normal status if not I will accept Quincy as he had been given to me; I promised GOD that no matter what the answer that I would serve GOD by providing the care to his people and ministering to his people to the best of my ability until GOD tells me my work on this earth is complete. I can truely say that I would have laughed at everyone if I was told that my life would be in the medical field because I was always afraid of the dead and now my main speciality is Hospice both IPU and CC. My family and I plan to return to New Orleans,La before the Thank sgiving and Christmas holidays begin to restart our personal and business lives to Self-Sufficent status post Hurricane Katrina.

Thanks to everyone for all the invites. Pls everyone pray for and with my family and i and all disaster victims that we will be able to return ou lives to Self-Sufficent status. You will never imagine the impact that Gulf Coast and other flood victims have endured and continue to endure.
There is so much more work to be done to get people lives back to normal and the beginning of
that will start with prayer and not passing judgement.
GOD loves everyone
