About Me:
Until this past August I was an editor at a newspaper. Now I am a full-time pre-nursing 2nd degree student. During the time that I was planning my departure from the newspaper business, I got certified as an EMT and began training as a firefighter. I was a member of our community's volunteer fire department. The worst part about moving away to attend nursing school was giving up the VFD ... I cried. I moved to a small town outside of the "city" where I attend university. I don't know anyone here, but I'm starting to meet some folks in my classes. With 3 dogs and a cat, I can't exactly say that I live alone, but no other humans occupy my home.     Don't know about the Wings/ Rangers opener, will have to check it out! Read your blog for the first time- great writing, and you've hit it right on the head referncing Nursing classes...it will get worse before it gets better! And always remember, its not the grade its the knowledge applied! (easy for me to say, however have just been informed I have to go after my Masters and complete in next three years- oh joy!)...

    "eh?'- sounds more Canadian than Southern! problem with my Red Wings is they are always such a strong season team that they seem to fall apart during the playoffs...but I do have those two jerseys with the Stanley Cup Patches on them!

    New York who? Do they even have a hockey team in New York?
    Hope you are adjusting to Unicoi- great hiking, rafting (take a white water rafting trip down the Nolachuckie in late spring...and you're close to the Smokie's and Gatlinburg...and its a great drive back over the mountains to N.C. Have you been up to the Devil's Looking Glass yet?
