About Me:
I was born in the Panhandle of Texas & transplanted to the Rio Grande Valley where I was raised. I moved to the DFW area at the ripe old age of 18 (haha) on a bet that I couldn't & wouldn't ever make it. 17 years later, I'm still here, still making it & aparently it's gone quite well. After years of raising babies and being momma, I went to LVN school. The great state of Texas says I am a nurse so I must be. I'm currently working on the online LVN/RN transition, any suggestions or words of wisdom would be appreciated! I am the assistant director of nursing for a 120 bed snf/ltc, which is crazy hectic most days, but I love my job and wouldn't trade it or my coworkers for anything! After kissing, marrying & divorcing my share of frogs, I finally found my Prince Charming, soul mate & best friend. Our first date (to grab a coke) lasted 8 hours & I pranced back home at 0300 (obviously this was my weekend without kids). That was February & 4 months later I was saying "I do" for the last time at a drive thru wedding chapel in Las Vegas lol! I have 2 beautiful girls and I have also been blessed with 2 bonus kids, and of course Maggie & Shadow my beloved miniature schnauzers.
