About Me:
Hello. I was born and raised in a small town in Tennessee and continue to reside there currently. I have 2 grown children and one grandson who is three yrs old. My daughter has applied to nursing school and is in her third year of college. I have done a variety of things in the field of nursing, but have spent most of my time on a ortho/neuro rehab floor. I recently worked with a travel nurse company from AR. I traveled to and worked in AZ for a total of 11 months two different times with the same travel company. I went the first time in 03 came back in 04. Worked in TN until last june then went back to AZ for three months. I had to take time off due to a back problem that requires surgery when insurance approves. Go figure! This will be my third spinal surgery but like the everready bunny I "keep going" ! Six years ago I had an abdominal hysterectomy and three blood clots landed in my lungs. I am blessed in many ways sometimes it just takes a push ok a shove LOL to get the picture. When I am repaired I will get back to nursing.Not just because thats what I do but because being a caregiver,a friend, a teacher,a gentle touch,a hand to hold, a kind word, giving empathy is a part of who I have become. I am a nurse.
