About Me:
Hey! My name is Tiffani Lynn Leadingham-Oney. I married the man of my dreams on August 17th, 2008, so my name hasn't completely switched over yet. I am in the honors and nursing programs at Northern Kentucky University, and can't wait to begin to learn more and begin clinicals and get real hands-on experience. On May 1, 1999 I was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes, and had some of the BEST doctors and nurses, and that's when I decided that I wanted to help people like they had helped me. Although my doctor was a pretty cool cat, he was super busy, and it was straight to the point. My nurses, however, would come in and make sure I was okay and talk to my parents and me. I had this one nurse who was super nice and said she loved her job, and taught me some stuff whenever I told her it seemed interesting. I want people to leave a hospital thinking, "wow, that nurse was awesome!" I want to impact people's lives, by a) being able to help them medically and b) making them feel comfortable and relaxed.
