Virginian Pilot May 12 2008 Dear Abby column - Dear Abby: As you know most women invest a lot of time and money so they can look and feel beautiful. The US FDA Office of Women's Health would like to encourage women to get the most out of their health products by following the directions. In celebration of National Women's Health Week (which lasts through Saturday) we are offering a free health and beauty kit that includes tools for making informed choices about cosmetics and other products women use every day. This collection of fact sheets is available in English and Spanish and is an example of how the FDA has been working to promote the safe use of health and beauty products ever since the landmark Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act was signed in 1938.
