| Description: | Palm has a wide range of medical programs capible of download from the internet. I used my Palm and the Davis Drug book downloaded all thru nursing school. I have lab downloads, and other programs that I use daily for quick refrence. |
It is small enough to carry, for the student in clinicals. It has expandible memory for downloads. It is inexpensive. The programs are updated reguarly
I would love one of these. The doctor I work with has one and he uses his often. Just cannot part with that much money right now.
I like Palm Pilots but I would prefer to have an iPhone. Anyone have one?
It is my survival kit all in one and I never leave home without it.
This holds my life! Mine needs new battery though. It doesn't hold a charge very long any more....wore it out I think.
does what its meant to do and easy to use
I got mine from school (they require we have it...And i downloaded my PEPID onto it! It makes reference quick and easy!!! Loveit!
I have seen this with other fellow students. It is awesome! Beats carrying a book around all the time, very compact and easy to update.
I love mine! It saves the weightlifting for the gym since I don't have to carry all the books on clinical rounds - and having the drug guide in an easy-to-use index impresses the docs!
I would love to have one of these I keep to do list daily and this would be move convient
this could be helpful
I use mine constantly in clinicals. I have my drug book, medical dictionary and many labs and assessment books all in one pocket size PDA. A must for any student. My instructors and classmates are always asking to use it. Very user friendly. Many different medical programs are available.
Could come in handy if on the run
LOVE IT!!! I take it with me to clinicals every day. It is very handy--drug info, tabers, etc are all on it.
It's my life-line at work. I carry it with me everywhere and I have all our policies and protocols as well as drugs and everything inbetween. I also keep my schedule in it so i don't have to fumble with paper and dig through my purse for it. I even have a special wallet for it! I love it!!! All the other palm people at work beam our info to each other whenever there's updated material. I think hospitals should had these out to all staff. Would save on paper too!!
Can anyone tell me how this differs from a PDA or handheld pc/with windows OS? I have never worked with Palm Pilots. Always have used PDA's because it's exactly like Windows on your PC. No instructions needed if you already know how to use windows.
Anyway if anybody has tried both---how would you compare them and which one do you like better?
I would like one.
