I own a Sprague prestige stethoscope which is already 20 years old but it functions as good as new & even better than new stets from the other brands.
this is an excellent price for a good stethoscope.
I use this one on the Ambulance during rescue runs. I can hear very well with it through the noise of the siren and other things. Very sturdy too. Has be stepped on and run over by ambulance too. Excellent for EMT's
I used this stethoscope while i was a CNA and my first year of nursing school, while it is adequate, i would suggest getting a higher priced prestige line if you will be listening to heart sounds and lung sounds
This model stethoscope got me through nursing school. I will use it till it falls apart and then buy another. I do not have to spend a large sum of money to get a great product.
I have one now as i'm going through school. Sound is good. Only complaint is it is way to heavy if you get this try not to wear it around your neck as most of us do to avoid neck strain. Still prefer a littman over anything.
i had one when i was in medical assisting school- they provided one for us. I honestly like my littman better. i got it as a birthday gift last year...this stethiscope here, i am a bit confused, but that nice thing about it , is that unlike the litmann, you can actually move the thingyies( iu call them earflannges..) toward the inner ear, with damaging it..i like that.. but i think the quality in steths is what you pay for sometimes.. but i just love my littmann.
this is a great product have one hanging in my closet cant wait to use it
Great stethoscope! It rivals all of those expensive stethoscopes.
It did the job but it was very heavy around my neck. I had to get a Littmann but still have this one as a backup.
