| Description: | The true story of an army nurse serving in Vietnam. The late Lynda Van Devanter served as the National Women's Director of the Vietnam Veterans of America. She counseled other Vietnam veterans and conducted seminars around the country. |
A gritty, harrowing tale of one woman's experiences as a nurse serving in the vietnam war. This true story brought me to tears. Lynda Van Devanter kept me a rapt audience, and made me feel a different kind of sorrow, and gratitude for those who are serving our country in the armed forces.
I will have to add this book to my wish list. I wanted so to be an Army Nurse during the Nam era
I am sad to know that Lynda Van Devanter is gone. She was a very courageous person and one " _ _ _ _" of a nurse! This is an amazing account of how our nurses in combat are vital to our troops under fire!!!
