    A gritty, harrowing tale of one woman's experiences as a nurse serving in the vietnam war. This true story brought me to tears. Lynda Van Devanter kept me a rapt audience, and made me feel a different kind of sorrow, and gratitude for those who are serving our country in the armed forces.

    I am sad to know that Lynda Van Devanter is gone. She was a very courageous person and one " _ _ _ _" of a nurse! This is an amazing account of how our nurses in combat are vital to our troops under fire!!!
