depending on which brand you get, they are great, and an excellent gadget to add to your daily gear. it clips on to the waistband of your pants and you just slide you steth in. its great when you need an extra hand to hold your steth. keeps it out of the way.. however, it may be out of the way from you but not from other objects that you could possibly bump into to.. so if you get one and you like it holler at me and let me know what you think of this product. cool..
this might be good for a guy but looks too cumbersome for me
I used to carry my stethescope around my neck, and suffered migraines for years before I figured out what was causing the problem...this might be a beneficial little tool to have!
Still find around the neck to be best...this pulled down on my scrubs, and found it caught on too many things....
When I was a C.N.A., I tried one, and I would always would get it caught on something and it usually ended up around my neck anyways......
I tried one once and it was always getting caught on the bedside or the rails, nice concept though.
Not fond of the look when I see one. Prefer it slung over my shoulder.
I have one and I only used it once.....the stethoscope doesn't fit in nice and easily. Also, most people tend to wear scrub tops that hang OVER their pants....not tucked in like this, so it wasn't very easily accessible either.
hate it catches on EVERTHING
I found that it caught on everything, especially in the back of the ambulance during transport.
Doesn't seem to be handy.I can see it getting stuck on everything in my pockets.I wouldnt want it to touch anything gross when i was leaning over.
all nurses could use one of these
