I like this one, I got a different one when I got into school and discovered it was not very complete, bought this one in my 2nd yr and like it a whole lot more. More complete!
The Davis's Drug Guide for Nurses is what my nursing school require that we use. It's really great for a nursing student. It not only has everything about a drug, it also has nursing imiplications, potential nursing diagnoses, patient/family teaching, etc. This info is really helpful when you are doing your patient care plans. I have looked at some other drug guides, but this one by far is the best and most informative.
Has the best info!!!
The book is great, but the handheld application is more versitile still. LOVE IT
My school requires this book...its easy to use and has lots of useful information
My school requires this drug guide, too. It is wonderful. Just about everything you need to do your care plans. I've also got the electrionic version downloaded on my PDA.
This is the book that I used in nursing school (the 2006 version), I also had Lippincott's drug book also, but this book was much easier to understand
This is the book I used in Nursing school, it was very easy to use and it came with a CD to use on my computer.
I've used this guide during and ever since I graduated nursing school - I like how it ilists the recommendations for how/when to give it and easy patient teaching :)
