This product is made by a local native woman. I have helped her sew liners for her slippers, hats, and mittens. I have seen alot of native made products over 40 years of living in Alaska and I would say her products are some of the finest made and her attention to detail is top notch.
For those who do not live in Alaska you may not know it, but only Alaska Native (coastal) are allowed to work with furs and skins. Me, being non-native, I am limited to sewing the polar fleece liners for her products. After she has commissed me to do the polar fleece liners, I return them to her, where she then has various sizes and stuffs them into the appropriate mittens, slippers, hat. From there she uses a specialized fur sewing maching and then finishes each product by hand adding bead work.
Her patterns for her hats, mittens and slipper have been passed down by her mom who is a well known lady amoung the fur/skin industry in Alaska.
I personally know Dianna. She is a young mom who was raised with some traditionall native values...she to is passing along her fur/skin knowledge and talent to her little girl.
Take a look at Diana's website and learn more about her and her products: www.dineegafurs.com
These baby booties really make cool and unique baby shower gifts. They are very functionable...I suggest you look at a larger pair(slippers) for yourself!
After a long day on your feet~what a treat to come home and have a pair of warm slippers customed made waiting just for you!

these may be perfect for Alaska but I don't think they would go over around here.
