I really like this book. It has given me a good basis on how medical terminology is broken down. It's great for a pre-nursing student and better to be used before you start taking any medical classes. I like the book because it tests you as you are learning. It has great reviews and I am glad I purchased it a few months ago. It truly has helped alot.

I've had a book similar to this, and absolutely love it. I have kept it for reference, because not only does it break down medical terms, it explains certain procedures as well, and why they are performed.

This looks like a great book for any nurse to have. I think I'm gonna pick one up for myself since I don't start my LPN until next year. I have plenty of time to read it. :)

This book, in addition to the Dean Vaghn method I learned in the '80's, will help keep the terminology fresh and real while learning
