Description:

Outstanding acoustic performance and exceptional versatility. Innovative design offers a patented tunable diaphragm on each side of the chestpiece for adult, pediatric, and small site auscultation. The Littmann Cardiology III stethoscope offers two tunable diaphragms which allows the user to conveniently alternate between low- and high-frequency sounds without turning over the chestpiece. The large side can be used for adult patients, while the small side is especially useful for pediatric or thin patients, around bandages, and for carotid assessment. The pediatric side of the chestpiece easily converts to a traditional bell by simply replacing the diaphragm with the nonchill bell sleeve included with each stethoscope.

I work on a women's/children's unit so I only have to carry one stethoscope. And it comes in my favorite color-Plum.

After my first year of nursing school using the less expensive brands, I got fed up with not being able to really hear through them. I have a slight hearing problem that made it very difficult to even get a blood pressure correctly. I have this now, and I hear beautifully, loud and clear! It was the best $135 I spent during nursing school!

I love mine. I was so glad that I made that investment when my Dad was one of my patients.

I bought my first Cardiology III when I worked in a ER as a new grad. It is the only stethoscope I will ever need to buy.

I have been a nurse for over 26 years and this is one of the best stethoscopes around.
    It is worth the money.
