Some advice about the NCLEX, when I took the exam 6 years ago, it focused heavily on triage questions. Prioritizing and safety were the main focus. Is it still the same today?

I took ithe NCLEX in 2004 and Prioritizing was a very big component of it.

Took it in '99 and the only questions I remember started out "You've just finished teaching a class on infection control. Which of the following examples show that your teaching was effective?"
Why did this stick in my head all these years? Because I felt it was completely absurd.

I took the NCLEX this past August. The entire test was priority. It was hard because it was like every patient was dying no matter what you did and you just had to pick one to try and save.

I'm a Nurse Assistant working on becoming a Practical Nurse and I would like to get help with the NCLEX for Practical Nurses. My problem is that I'm going to need help with critical thinking, writing out a good Care Plan and Nurses Notes. I'm sending out an S.O.S. because I want to be the best that I know I can be in my field.

Use the Kaplan test strategies for studying. It helped me tremendously. Even if you don't know an answer, it will guide you on how to come to the correct answer.
