I have a pembroke welsh corgi and I love him to death. He doesn't have a tail, so he makes up for it by shaking his butt. I crack up every time he does it. Does your dog do/have done anything funny?

My golden retriever Morgan is a continuous source of amusement. He throws himself on the floor, rolls onto his back and wiggles, with all four legs in the air. He sits and stares at me with his tennis ball in his mouth, his tail wagging waiting for attention. He slinks past the cats.......he has a very healthy respect for them, but it's funny watching a 90lb dog slide ever so quickly past a 10lb furball with sharp claws and teeth

My mom's dog, whenever I come to visit, which is usually 1-2 times a week, gets so excited when I come in, he runs, jumps on the couch, hits the couch so hard he bounces back and falls off the couch. He jumps back up on the couch and runs the length of the couch, jumps into my dad's chair, then runs and jumps back on the couch for another lap. When he gets done, He looks at me and pees.

My dog Rascal is mixed. His mom was full blooded Pomeranian and his dad was half chihuahua and half pekinese. He is a Rascal. He is so funny. He can sit up (beg), lay down, roll over, and just sit. Haven't been able to get him to speak on command, but we can say "who's that" or "what is that" and he'll bark and run towards the door. He has a toy he plays with and gets really rowdy and throws it around the room. I'm waiting for the day he throws it up and breaks something. He also will growl and acts really ferocious when I act like I'm hitting my daughter. He also gets so excited when I come home and can't wait for me to pet him. I always tell my family at least someone is glad to see me. LOL. I have pictures of him on my profile if you want to see him.

My little sweetie is a rat terrior- Rattica (Rat for short!). She initially belonged to my daughter, but became our dog (baby) since my daughter went away to college 4 yrs ago! She begs for treats anytime she sees anybody go to the kitchen near the sink where her treats are kept! All I have to say is,"daddy's home!" and she goes wild-barking and racing back and forth from me to the door! She does this sometimes when she hears a car drive past our house about the time that my hubby usually gets home. Somehow she has some sort of internal clock that she is on the alert for a car driving by about the time he normally is home!!!! You can see her 'stylin' in her pink jacket in my profile photos of family!

I have a border collie named Shamrock (has Irish import in him). When I leave to go to work, he'll run to the back window to watch me go to the garage and get in the car. All you can see is his head and he barks as I leave. Then as I drive past the side of the house, he's in the window onin the side, just watching me leave. I guess he really hates to see me leave for work. However, when I come home, he's so excited, he "talks"... he does a sound like he's saying owwwwwww owww, then runs and sits at the door for me to take him out. He loves to jump the fence, but I do wish he'd learn to jump back IN the yard...lol.

Well, Bogey has done it again!!!!! I went to visit mom and dad, and at about 7:30 a.m. I heard some not so nice words out of my mom's mouth.:) Apparently, my mom has a down comforter that she left out, and Bogey had used it for a new chew toy, and had the stuffing all over the house. I ran into the den, and he had a goatee made out of the stuffing......Needless to say, he stayed by my side the rest of the day....LOL

This is a bit gross - but I have a 2 year old lab-chow (we think) and she burps - loud big open mouthed burps. And like a little kid I swear she is really proud of herself when she does it!

Morgan cocks his head and becomes very alert when anyone passes gas, then goes right over to the perpetrator which is usually Aidan who's almost 12, making him laugh. He also, when he passes gas acts like someone else did it. He turns and looks around and then back at you, ever so innocently

my dog is a yellow labrador. he is very funny because he would greet my husband, kids and me by putting his paws on our shoulders.he never growl to any of our visitors but growled angrily and loudly only once. he growled at my sister that does not always agree with me. his full name is Malaki (Big) Dilao (yellow) Aso (dog) and call him Dilao for short. these are filipino words.

We have a Scotie named Gretchen. She LOVES bunnies. She will see a bunny in the back yard and she squeals down the stairs, around the yard, she heads back into the house racing to a bedroom in the front of the house barking and squealing. She lets everyone know there's a bunny in the yard. If you mention the word she bombs out here door and goes through the routine. I asked her how my honey was doing and she freaked.

Technically this isn't my dog, it's my boyfriend's daughters dog, but he is a chihuahua mixed with dachsund. He is so hilarious. When he gets excited he smiles. At first we thought he was growling, but he only does it when he gets excited to see us. I will put a pic of him on my page if anyone wants to see him.

I have 2 dogs Nalla (husky) and Bambino (rotti). Nalla greets me at the door saying "hello" and she say "I love you" when ever anyone goes near the frig she will come talk to you, because she wants a treat! Its so funny she doesn't ever bark she talks, my husband laughs at me. Bambino is a huge pup yet. but he is a ball boy. He has taken over all and everyone of my boys balls, baseball, football, basketballs, all of them. You tell him to catch it and he opens his mouth and puts his front pals up to catch the ball. its so funny!!!! He favorite ball is a football. so I own a talking husky and a football star!

I have a sweet boxer named Sadie. She follows me everywhere and I mean everywhere. If I move she moves. It is like I have 6 legs, even when I am cleaning.... She is very protective of me, especially around strange men, she doesn't like strangers, which makes me happy since my hubby is gone a lot. I had a wolf hybrid, name Sheeba when I lived back home in Texas. That pup had my heart. My husband use to take her up to the base with him when he worked nights because she was nocternal. We had a sky light in our living room and she would howl at the moon through it, that didn't work to well for me since I had to work the next morning. She out grew our boxer by the time she was 4 months, so we gave her to friend who had some land. She always had this "duh" look on her face.

I have a huge boxer named Roscoe. He passes gas, looks at you(like you did it),sniffs, then walks off, and leaves the stench with you.

Does Roscoe shop? Morgan does, picks out his own toys and takes them to the cashier. Never taught him this he just refuses to relinquish his "find". Carries it to the car, lays down in the back seat and lays on it until we get home.

While I don't have a dog of my own - I am partially obcessed with my parent's dog. He is a big brown stadard poodle named Murphy but everyone calls him Muffin. I can't say he does anything specifically funny - but he always looks like he is about to talk. One thing that he did last weekend was he saw a lizard in the front yard run under a bush. Now when he goes in the front yard he remembers the lizard and he sticks his nose under the bush and gets his face all dirty. That's about it. Picture of Murphy is below:

I am the proud momma of 4 miniature dachshunds. They're all characters in their own right, but my choc/tan baby girl, Bailey has a peculiar habit my husband and I like to refer to as her "CPR training" She has her favorite woob-a stuffed raccoon we call "rocky". She will grab rocky by his butt, and drag him to HER spot in the living room. She then climbs on top of his back, rocky's head perfectly positioned between her front paws. Now, picture this-rocky is about the same size as bailey, so her efforts and dragging him to just the "right" spot on the living room floor is a feat to behold! Once she's assumed the position, she'll grab rocky's head in her mouth, and her little paws start to alternately "pump" away on rocky's chest. Her mouth moves like she's giving "breaths" and she'll go at it like this for at least an hour! I've got her on video, and I'm laughing so hard at my husband, who's giving the "play by play" action on the life status and success rate of her CPR efforts!!

She's a trip! They all make me laugh on a daily basis!

My little Rat Terrior loves her doggie treats so much that if she sees anybody standing in the vicinity of her treats she will  "beg" - stand on her 2 back legs or else roll over and over again on the floor!!  She is very funny!

My dog just looks funny...picture this....take a Basset Hound (short legs, long body) and mix in some Pit Bull (BIG head) and you've got my dog, Moose!

He looks like a cartoon character. And he LOVES to sleep on the bed and sit in your lap. I guess he doesn't realize he weighs almost 60 pounds.

I have a miniature dachshund named Penny.  I agree with carolzimms. Dachshunds are characters!!  Penny is our "baby".  She entertains us everyday with so many hilarious things that she does.  Her favorite spot to lay is on the sofa on HER pillows.  She will stand on the sofa and stare at me until I put the pilllows flat for her to lay on them.  I  think that we have developed our own communication system with our dog.  We understand our dog and she understands us. It seems that Penny knows just how to get what she wants.  SPOILED!!!  Anyone have an interesting way of communicating with their dog?
