Weirdest Kid Names

Posted about 1 year ago Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but I named my two boys Frank and David. Simple by today's standards. I work in an urgent care center, and I get to see a lot of kids on a daily basis. Yesterday, I had one kid whose name "Capote" and another whose name was "Frangelica". While they have a nice ring to them, and I'm a bog fan of the liqueur by the same name as well as Breakfast at Tiffany's - should kids really have these names? |

Posted about 1 year ago As time goes on kids name will get even more unique. I had some friends named moon and star. Also one of them named christmas mary. Don't ask me just that her parents were into Chruch and christmas very much. So as time goes on names will become far fetched. My middle child's name is Diamond. Girl's best friend.

Posted about 1 year ago As a labor and delivery nurse, I come across names that have no way of saying them, better yet spelling them. I had one, that wanted to just put a much of letters with '- characters in them. Even the grandparents didn't know how to say the name or spell it. I did have another patient who believe her baby was going to represent wealth. She named her baby Amerius (Bank) Carlexus (car) Amerius Carlexus. Or Precious Princess.........do you think the kids will tease her with that name?

Posted about 1 year ago I swear on my Harry Potter Books this one is true... My parents knew some people whose last name was Boots They named their son Tony Lama.... I knew a girl in high school whose name was Semet and one whose name was Tsenre but once you knew her father's name was Ernest, at least you could nod and say, "oh, how unusual" without rolling your eyes...

Posted about 1 year ago some folks in our country specifically from a far out town they would name the baby in their own dialects. even in the city, we could not believe that mostly it sounds funny but some of them are just so cute. our country has a lot of dialect and sometimes you cannot understand half of it though you only live 1000 miles away. examples are: NAPINTAS (beautiful), Liwanag (light), Malakas (strong),Bituin (star)............

Posted about 1 year ago I had a patient named Orange and a older gentleman named Kermit. Also a patient named Edgar Allen Poe (it's true). And there were 3 little girls who lived down the street from me named Sunny-Stormy- & Windy! But the all time worse was a 4th grade student named Vagina and pronounced like it sounds. Also my daughter got beat up by a girl named Chiquata.

Posted about 1 year ago I am a fan of unique, but not too far fetched names. My (biological) kids names are Jayde (son), Norah, and Josslin...and if I have another little boy I like the name Viktor...girl, Ayzia (pronounced Asia). I have also heard of names such as : Allota Peaches Rocket Carr and the newest trend for girls: Nevaeh ( Heaven spelled backwards) Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, worn out and screaming "Woo-hoo"!!!

Posted about 1 year ago I am a fan of unique names as my name is Jen and growing up I hated it we always had to have nicknames as there was usually more then one Jen in a class, atleast the ones I was in. My kids names are not strange names but not always the most common heard...atleast at the time hehe. They are Dakota(boy), Desirai(girl), and Dalton(boy). It is so cute they call themselves the triple D's. There have been some weird names I have run into but cannot recall them.

Posted about 1 year ago My daughter had a friend named Ephoma. I thought it sounded like a type of cancer. I think parents should think before they name their kids strange names. It may make it harder for them in the work place as far as securing emmployment. I know it is not suppose to matter but , people are sometimes prejudice without meaning too.

However, seeing that I can't have children....I guess it is not something my husband and I should worry about huh!?!?! I thought that Apple was a strange name for a child.... | Posted 3 months ago Apple is a good name only for an apple. Now here in Tennessee we have Billy Joe Bubba Bob. That's class, that's style, (that's a joke). Couldn't resist it. The apple made me do it. Names are names, but they can stay with you forever...I agree, think of what the initials spell, 'cause you can bet the ranch that all the grade school kids will know instantly and they will pounce on it like the proverbial dog on a bone.
