Posted 7 months ago Just wanted to ask how it has been going for all of you so far, in school. Myself, I am more than halfway there and excited to finally be in a hospital getting hands on training. It verifies for me that this is what I really do want to do. (to bad I stayed home for so long...) Hope everything is going good for everyone else. Good luck and don't give up, we'll get there!! | Posted 6 months ago I am finishing up my second semester of the ADN program. Four more tests to go, including two finals. I am so excited to be done for a while and get a break. I too, found my passion while in the clinical setting, although things could change in the next two semesters.-OB is my passion. It's not just the babies, it's the empowerment of mothers. However, the department is only as good as it's employees and I am thankful to have seen & worked with some wonderful nurses! Best of luck to you. Hopefully, we'll all have a nice break and be charged up for Fall 08! |

| Posted 6 months ago I'm loving clinicals and actually today was our last day at the psyc ward...which I truly enjoyed. Gradutaion in next yr. at this time for me and so far I'm leaning towards OR or Psyc. We'll see what happens. I'm looking forward to a little break myself. Enjoy everyone! We need to recharge our batteries before the new semester. Peace. *Samantha*

| Posted 6 months ago Hi everyone. I have finally settled on where it is that I want to be. Med-Surg is for me. I have been in clinical there and decided that I like the fact that patients change and so do situations. It keeps you going roundthe clock. Since I will be working overnights it would help to keep me awake until I get used to it. Hope you all are doing good and good luck in the new semester. |

| Posted 3 months ago Well, I have 4 children at home and go to school fulltime as well as work. You can do anything u put your mind to. If you want it you will get it if you reach hard enough you will grab it. Don't let things discourage you. Things will happen, and you'll say, i just can't do this anymore. but yea, u can. Believe in yourself and never say "I can't do this." Always say " I can do this, never give up." Best of luck to you. You'll do great! |

| Posted 2 months ago HALFWAY DONE!!! Only 6 months to go and can't wait! I'm doing outsite clinincals (our community centers) and I'm finding that I definatly want to work in our community hospital! After years of working as a CNA I need a break from the nursing homes. I want to help people get better, not sustain the life they have left and feed them mountains of pills....... |

| Posted about 1 month ago I'm currently in Nursing III. This semester is almost over and I can't believe that I will then be a semester away from RN graduation. Lately I am more stressed and worried then ever. After all this........I'm thinking that the NCLEX should be a breeze. LMAO *Samantha*
