| Posted 3 months ago It depends on your personality. Accelerated means that...you're completing program in half the time. There wont be much time for anytime else. Learn one subject then move on. some people thrive under this type of pressure. Everything come early Grad, Nclex, Career...but at what price. Traditional...the selection is a little tougher because more people qualified for this program than others. The pace is fast but you may absorb more. Even though it may be longer than it should be ...you may be able to work as well go to school. As far as which is the best...depends on your area. If its offer at a Univeristy or College...that would proably be your best. Private schools are offering this more and more but it is expensive...but if you can afford it..go for it. (Make sure you can sit for your State boards). As far as employers are concerned an RN is an RN...Normally the job description will say RN certified by the State. Whether its RN/ADN/BSN accelerated, traditional, private, public , college, tech school, University, high GPA, low GPA (are normally our concerns the students) |
