A motorcycle patrolman was rushed to the hospital with an inflamed appendix. The doctors operated and advised him that all was well.

However, the patrolman kept feeling something pulling at the hairs in his crotch. Worried that it might be a second surgery the doctors hadn't told him about, he finally got enough energy to pull his hospital gown up enough so he could look at what was making him so uncomfortable.

Taped firmly across his pubic hair were three wide strips of adhesive tape, the kind that doesn't come off easily.

Written in large black letters was the sentence:

'Get well soon....from the nurse in the Jeep you pulled over last week.'

Many of my female colleagues have gotten out of tickets while in their scrubs.  Wonder if it works for dudes?

My experience with being on the road for the past 15 years and being pulled over about 2-300 times, and NEVER getting a ticket (I'm knocking on wood, saying a prayer, and threw salt over my shoulder, don't know if that made sense) but I have found Highway patrol are the hardest to get out of a ticket, I have had to do some fast talking here, one CHIP I told I had a patient emergency I was heading too, (sorta true) he offered to follow me so I could get there quick oh crap! luckily he must have gotten a call, because he turned a different way!,  but local cops are pretty good about not giving nurses tickets, I have had dozens tell me "I don't give nurses tickets", I have been thank- ful. I am a safe driver but alittle speedy on the freeway. 1 cop told me to just keep it about 80 and I would be fine. I once had a local cop that pulled me over for 5 miles over the speed in a residential area, I had a bag full of lab specimens going to hospital, he did not care, he did not care I was a nurse (so he said) he gave me a lecture of how he would give a ticket to his own mom, the President anyone who broke the law, my blood was melting (both) and I was ready to say, just give me the ticket I need to go I was there almost 20 minutes, when he said "okay, I'm done, I feel better now, you can go". I was stunned and slowly drove away.
