With work and families busy time every day, it is nice to spend a minute and talk about what is going on in our life. Do you have a new baby or grand baby coming, a new job, kid graduating, what?

Our daughter who is in the Navy just got home safely after 1 year over in the hot zone. Tonight we had a welcome home party. One son is graduating high school and one daughter is having her first child in September. We are very thankful. What is going on with you?

Welcome home to your daughter! My husband is in the Navy and we are on count down (or at least I am), we have about 10 more months in VA.  I can't wait, I am hoping our next duty station will be back home in Texas.  Other then that, I am graduating from Saint Leo University with my BA in June and then my step daughters are coming to visit this summer!!! yay!

We had my sons graduation from Don Bosco Tech (HS) this weekend, we had a big party for him we swam and sat in the spa, his friends standing behind him all had cans of silly string hidden and they covered him from head to toe. We are sending him a 3 friends to Hawaii for grad present, say a prayer they stay safe. This is first time he has been away from us both except at scout camp and my husband was always with him. We are getting ready for an Alaskan cruise next month, kids are excited, Oldest don (19) just got accepted to Police academy, he is in Law school (just starting) but wants to work part time a officer, his goal is FBI. My cousin is still in Iraq his 3rd tour he is on front lines hopefully he comes home safely.

I graduated this month and my daughter stationed at Landstuhl Hospital in Germany came home and surprised me.  This was the best gift I could have asked for. This was greater than getting my ADN, way better. I'm so proud of her, she is a great person and she continues to grow. I'm just sad she had to go back to work. Now I'm studying for the NCLEX-RN, I have one week left to learn everything I need to know...LOL. I'm trying to get my garden put in between chapters. Then I must get a job, then it's back to everyday work...bummer. Now I get to watch my husband go through the nursing program, so funny.
