New Job!!!!!!

Posted 6 months ago I just wanted to let everyone know that I have been offered a full time OR position. I will officially accept the position tomorrow 6/5 and turn my resignation in at my current job on 6/6. It looks like I will be starting on July 14th. I am required to work a 4 week notice and I am going to take a week off before I start my new job. This is an internship position so I will be training for approximately 6 months. OR is a totally different kind of environment and has a very long orientation program. Dmazment as crazy as it was to train prn in an OR, I guess it paid off. I think it helped me get my foot in the door at another hospital. I am so excited about starting this job. I am also scared to death, but I guess that just goes with changing jobs. Wish me well on my new endeavor.

| Posted 6 months ago You would love it, maybe someday, you might consider working in recovery, I hear it is less stressful, the patients is like post op patients, but you are monitoring them before they go out on the floor, I was considering doing recovering nursing myself, their scheldules are pretty flexiable. I am a proud mother of three beautyful daughter. I currently live in Los Angeles California. I've worked as a heathecare provider for almost 10 years. I am curently in school to pursue my MSN in nursing, and wants to work as a pediactric nurse, in public health. |

| Posted 6 months ago Starlight, it may have influences them it may not have. Frankly, I think your desire and wanting to be an OR Nurse so much showed through is the biggest reason you got the internship. Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!! Deb
