Posted 6 months ago Just wanted to say hello. First time on this site. A little bit about myself.. My name is Jess I have been an RN for two years now, living in Bristol, PA for now. I have my associates degree and plan on going back for my B.S.N.. For my first year I worked in an hospital and switched to LTC. The 35mile drive one way has made me realize I need a different job and want to go back to the hospital setting. It has been hard trying to find another job again, but hopefully all in due time it will come. |

| Posted 6 months ago Hi, I am new as far as being active and replying to forums and whatnot. I mistakenly replied to 'CURRENTLY DISABLED' but, I'm really unemployed for the past 3 months. I've been an LPN for 14 years and have never had a problem with unemployment! I've traveled from WV, FL, AZ, CA and back to FL and workd for staffing agencies in each locale until established and always found full time employment. However, I left a full time position R/T a hostile working environment and, I turned 60 in February and,......it's June and I'm outta money and no job! Is it the economy?? I've noticed very few job postings for LPN's in my area. Is true in other areas?? Or, is there age discrimination going on here??? |
