I couldn't sleep, now I'm sitting here trying to convince myself I can do it. I'm like the little train...I know I can, I know I can, I know I can! Best of luck to ya, we're going to do it! |

| Posted 2 months ago I passed! Friday I got the unofficial results on pearson and later the same day I got the official results on the BON site and when I checked the mail the hard copy was there. I can't believe 52 hours after I tested I became an RN. I took my old job thinking it would be a while before I would hear anything, the money was better as an LPN than a GN. Now I have no idea what to do, I want to work in the hospital but I don't want to just quit this job. Wow what a mess I'm in. |

| Posted 2 months ago Ya, I just graduated a month ago too and I am scheduled to take the boards June 27th. I took a week long Kaplan course that is suppose to guarantee a passing grade and I have been studying everyday...but the the more I studying and the more online tests I do, the worse my score gets. So I am not feeling too confident at this moment. So frustrating. Good luck though...I hope the stress is needless in the end. |

| Posted 2 months ago I am nerves. I finally registered this friday for my LPN state boards. I waited until the last day to register. I've been studying forever, and still feel that I haven't prepared at all, is that normal, or crazy. I am a chronic procrastinater, when it comes to major test. Good luck to everyone that is getting ready to face the state boards. I am a proud mother of three beautyful daughter. I currently live in Los Angeles California. I've worked as a heathecare provider for almost 10 years. I am curently in school to pursue my MSN in nursing, and wants to work as a pediactric nurse, in public health. |

| Posted 2 months ago You are going to pass. You did well all of the way through school. Do not put it off any more. Go take it and get your title that you deserve. You know all that you need to know to take the test. Take and get your first check as a nurse. I have my pay stub from my first paycheck as a nurse. Go get yours! Now! You can do it. Ginny |

| Posted 2 months ago I know Cd. I know I am ready, because I applied at a agency, for a job working with Autism children, They gave me three test. I ace all three of them, without studying for them. I feel that I am ready, my boyfriend said the same thing, that i am going to make it. Thank you very much for the encouragement. I am a proud mother of three beautyful daughter. | Posted 2 months ago I studied lots of ranges, memeorized normal limits of lab values, vital signs. There wasn't alot of these types of questions. most of them where scenarios in the workplace and where and when you react first.Alot of prioritizing.Common sense questions.

I will NEVER be able to understand how a hospital will pay an RN more than an LPN. I worked as a charge nurse and the laziest damn LPN in the building would at times be floated to my unit. I threw a hissy fit when I learned how much he made.

| Posted 2 months ago lilplaynurse8: My thoughts and wishs are with you today as you take the boards. You will do great. I remember that day. I got up early got to the test site early and then instantly felt like i wasnt ready. But I knew I was. I had studied and knew all that i could at that point. I took the test and feel nervous. This was going to change my life. Then it shut off at 166 question. I felt like I could throw up. Then I still had to drive home. I called a friend to reassure me that i was going to be okay. I was on the OHIO board site every hour for a day and half. My name showed up with a number next to it and i called my husband crying. He thought that I didnt pass. When I told him I did he was yelling to anyone around him that I was a Nurse. Then I called my instrutor and thanked her for the education, friendship and support. I guess what I am saying is you the information, just go take the test and remember everyone was nervous when they sat down to take it. GOOD LUCK and let us know the results. |
