I have checked out those sites and right now I'm really not into them. I'll stay here for a while.

I can't seem to find anything on them and I get lost with the navigating.  I'm with you on staying here. I just go to the areas that I want and stay off the ones I don't care about.

We all should have been playing nicely from the beginning. Some people just can't do that. Aren't we all grown men and women? It's sad that she isn't around anymore. I miss her because she use to calm me down before all my tests, as I was a nervous wreck and all. She also wanted to know how I did on them and after I told her my score she was so encouraging.

Those other sites seem a little more complicated right now and I just don't have the energy to sign up and figure how to move around and how to message friends. For some reason this site is easier. Who knows, maybe it's because I've been on here for so long I'm use to it. LOL

If you are out there somewhere cdnurse..................................I'm thinking of you and wishing you well in your journies.

Folks.. social and professional networking is a very tricky thing.  Just concentrate on enjoying what you have here... but keep an open mind for other sites (as places to have alternate memberships on), keep your eye on the learning curve with respect to the positive things that are going on in the social and professional networking environment... and trust that the community you call home will either attract new members in or bring back old members who have left for one reason or another.

Remember.. the quality of the community comes from it's membership... not just the administrators. 

I'll be bringing lots of learning information forward in the near future.... to help you make the best of the new, social internet.  I've learned a lot in the last year.  I venture on to many, many... way too many... social and professional networks.  Not because I'm looking for a date (I'm in a relationship)... or a couple of friends (though I value friendship).... but because, like many of you... I'm keeping my eyes and ears open for any opportunity to help me better myself and achieve my goals.  And, of course, I share myself along the way and hope that anything I have to give can help others get what they want out of any community I'm a part of.  That's the beauty of online networking.

For anyone who reads this.... remember... participate.  Sure... there's a chance you might do something "wrong".  But, if the community, and it's members, don't make any mistakes.... how can it "grow up"?

I did not "run" cdnurse away and I do not think I said anything wrong by expressing my point of view. That's what this site is all about. Everyone gets to express their point of view even "anonymous". I miss cdnurse too.

 

charlita, you didn't run cd away, it was a combination of the point system, not getting back her points she's continually lost and being told she hadn't lost any and feeling with all she's done, she wasn't appreciated by the moderators here.

CD nurse is back....i did email her and told her how much I missed her....it wasn't the same without her.
