Life is Too Short, what are YOU thankful for?

Posted 4 months ago <!--StartFragment-->
Life is too short to wake up with regrets. So love the people who treat you right. Love the ones who don't just because you can. Believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands. If it changes your life, let it. Kiss slowly. Forgive quickly. God never said life would be easy. He just promised it would be worth it. I think we should focus on the positive things in our lives for a minute. What are we thankful for? I am thankful for my children being healthy, my grand kids being healthy, my husband who loves me even when I am being difficult, my friends who love me for who I am, I am healthy we are fortunate to have a lovely home to live in, I love my job as a nurse. I really do not have anything to complain about. I think if we as nurses practice PMA (positive mental attitude) we can spread it to all of our patients and like a ripple in a stream it will go on and on. What are YOU thankful for?

| Posted 4 months ago I am thankful for my family and friends, the fact that we have another beautiful day to make a difference, and the ability to help others. That's the short list. I could write a book, but I won't. |

| Posted 4 months ago I have seen PMA change the lives and course of patients dying, when you think negatively chemical changes in your body lead to many bad things physically. When you are happy endorfins fill your body which are natural antioxidants in your body, I have seen dying patients live many years longer who remained happy and positive and other die quickly who were negative and sad. We have another beautiful day on our planet. My positive thought and thankfulness today is just that another day alive to spend with mu kids and friends and visit with all of you. A busy RN is here |

| Posted 3 months ago I am thankful that I have two healthy, happy, and spirited (!) little boys, who love their mommy like their mommy loves them. I am thankful that I have an awesome hubby who is supporting me through nursing school, and even covers the housework when I can't. I am thankful that I am in nursing school, and that I will be able to not only provide a good life for my family when I graduate, but I will also make a difference in the world while doing so. I am thankful that I have incredibly supportive and funny classmates in nursing school.

| Posted 3 months ago I am thankful for another day, a job, my car is paid for, my house, and the God given ability to be able to walk and talk without the assistance of some machine attached to my body. I am thankful for all the times God didn't allow me to throw myself under the bus because of all the incredibly stupid things I've done in my life (figuratively speaking). I'm thankful He's my best friend and knows me like no one else ever could. I'm thankful that when I want to throw myself a pity party, He won't allow me to attend. The list goes on for me and all of you, too. Not enough time or space to name all of them. A Proud Redneck Lovin' the Country Life |
