Sergers

Posted 3 months ago Does anyone here have a serger? I bought a used one maybe 2-3 years ago and I still have not figured out how to thread it. I normally would not have bought it used, but I got a deal that I couldn't turn down. I got it for $75. Usually a good new one will go for around $500. I know sergers are a pain to thread, but does anyone here know of any websites/books that will tell you how to thread it based on the brand/model #? Any info. or tips is greatly appreciated. |

| Posted 3 months ago I have not used one yet. We have sergers in the sewing club of the commumity where I live. You may try to go online and see if you can get an owners manual. also, check with some of the high scool or college home ec classes in your area. You may even find a sewing club in your area. | Posted 3 months ago mine has been sitting up in the closet for 7 years because I haven't been able to figure out how to thread it either. I think I will just keep on zig zagging my edges and sell mine at the next garage sale that I have.
