How do you add a product for review?

When you are in the product review section, in the top right corner there is a blue bar that says, "WRITE A REVIEW". Click on that and you will be guided through the steps. Let me know if you have any problems with this.

when you are writing a comment-if you go out and come back in again and accidentally hit a key, the whole thing is erased. Anyway to get it back?? I've done this more than once!

Charlita,

This is a bug we are fixing.

Just right click on the text box and go to "Undo" and that should bring back the text you just typed.

Try copy and paste with word.

why is it that when I review a product, it says by name(YOU) ? I don't see anyone else with it.

1) I'd like someway to keep up with the articles I post in so I can go back and see comments posted after mine 2) I'd like news items updated more often

charlit: boht are fantastic ideas. I would like to be able to see what I had sent in a message when someone replys back to me. Sometimes, after reading so much email at work, home, and this site, I forget what I sent.

I would like to see two sections added under the library so that we can submit and find articles specifically for children and adolescents.

For item #1, I will bring it to our team for discussion.

For item #2, We do our BEST to get you the latest nursing news that will be important to you and all nurses. Every day, NursingLink adds one to five news items. This is a manual process (done by me and a team) so it takes time and effort. Again, we do the best we can for the site.

Also, we are limited to the number of sources we can use because of copyright issues. This is why we encourage User-Generated news, because users don't have any restrictions!

Additionally, in an effort to make it important and relevant to you, we filter out a lot of uninteresting and boring news, simply because you won't want to read it!

Please, let me know what some of your favorite types of stories and articles are, and I will certainly use that in determining the chosen content.

Currently, we are working on a program that will automatically update the news for us but a machine won't be able to process what nurses enjoy as much as a human can, so this is for further down the road.

I am not having any problems. Sometimes if things get iffy I just close the page and start again (with this and all websites.)

Sometimes hitting "Refresh" works like a charm too. (I haven't had any problems with Inbox so far.)

Question: If I select the "Actions: watch topic" box does this help with keeping up with the items you post in (like Charlita was commenting on)? I'm trying it out with one of them -but that was like 30 secs ago.

I really like this site! It keeps me coming back daily. The site is easy to navigate & when you have a question there is usually a description available close by. The point gathering keeps it fun and sort of challenging too. It's interesting to get peer's opinions from all over the world and from all aspects of the medical field -from aspiring students to nurses who are masters in their field. I think the creators of this site are brilliant.

My one and only thumbs down at this point is regarding "The Game". I wished that it was something that was renewed with different questions daily. I rushed through it my first time, only to find out that that was it. Unless someone added new questions -Game Over. That bummed me out. It's fun that we can add our own questions though.

Is there anyway to retrieve past e-mails sent to friends ? sometimes my computer acts crazy and I'm not sure if it went thru. And if it didn't -I don't want to have to type the whole thing all over(if it's long) or I forgot what I said. thanks

How/why? did my profile score go from 25 to 24? Many on this site have questions about the scores and no one is finding any answers.

RN2B,

Based on your suggestion, we have made a new widget to go on the front page for "the Game!" I'll be putting it up in the next week (hint, hint, encourage people to populate it with more questions....)

The new box will show you a question you haven't answered in "the Game."

We don't have a feature to show who is on the site at any given time it YET but I'll put that suggestion in and see if the engineers say it is possible.

We tried to make it more obvious who was active by adding the "Recent Discussions" widget as well as the site Activity Feed on the right side.

I'll keep all updated on that feature.

Charlita, Do you mean past private messages sent to other users? If you go to your "Inbox" look on the left hand side under "Sent." This is where old sent messages are archived.

When using the "Quote this" function, it copies everything. If you wish to only quote part of it, I usually just Copy and Paste and then set it apart from what I want to say (usually using "Quotes" and identifying the section they said verbatim.)

If you are ever having trouble with the site it might be for a couple reasons.

A) You are are using "Internet Explorer." As a tech savvy gal, I suggest downloading the "Firefox" Browser - much faster, less pop ups, less viruses, and cleaner web pages.

B) We are pushing new features into production on the site and so it is slow. If it is REEEEAALLLY slow at any given moment (more than usual) just give it some time then come back and try again and everything should be good.
