Posted about 1 month ago More and more nursing opportunities in the Assisted Living world! Have been a Resident Care Manager for the last 5 years. Absolutely love working with senior adults and advocating for their right to proper treatment, respect, dignity, grace, independence and all that we have. It is a very demanding position for any nurse, but it does have it's rewards. Every smile, hug, "i love you" totally out weighs the paperwork, long hours and state regulations!! It is a growing need for strong, independent, knowledgeble nurses as the baby boomers will be there within the next 5 years. Is there anyone else here who works in this field? Lets talk!

| Posted about 1 month ago I worked at a very nice place but, I was uncomfortable with its guidelines. Not LTC, techs giving out meds,The tug of war with individuals who needed more supervision but did not want to move up to a higher level of care. It was a nice place but I was use to tigher regulations. |
