I am a 43 year old 1st quarter RN student who would love to work in a vast field with such a critical shortage.  My problem is 21 years ago I fell in love with an older man(conman, criminal) as a result he cleaned out my checking account of almost $3,000.00 and I being so naiive and immature forgave him for it by not turning him into the authorities as a result  i was charged with a felony, i was given financial restitution and 5 yrs probations- although I met both conditions 15 years ago I still have the felony to deal with I am in the process of  trying to expunge it. My question is are there any states that will allow me to work as a Nurse with a felony charge!!!!!

If I remember correctly it's the type of felony you've been labeled with.  You would have to contact individual state boards to find out the answer to your question.
